There will be no NPS-provided visitor services at Valley Forge National Historical Park, including public information, most restrooms, trash collection, and facilities and roads maintenance. Because of the federal government shutdown, NPS social media and websites are not being monitored or updated and may not reflect current conditions. All park programs have been canceled.
The Visitor Center, including restrooms, will be open from 9AM – 5PM daily and will operated by park partners. The Visitor Center will be closed on Christmas and New Year's Day. You can contact the Visitor Center by calling 610-783-1099.
Park grounds, roads, trails and parking areas will remain open to the public. Park gates will be opened and closed at their normal times. State roadways (PA Rt. 23, Rt. 252 and Gulph Rd) and The Schuylkill River Trail will remain open through the park. Most park buildings will be closed.
Additional information about visiting Valley Forge during the shutdown is available at nps.gov/vafo. For updates on the shutdown, please visit www.doi.gov/shutdown.
