Valley Forge National Historical Park will commemorate the arrival of the Continental Army at Valley Forge on December 19, 1777 with a week of featured online and virtual March-In programming, culminating with an online screening of the park's new 19-minute orientation film Determined to Persevere: The Valley Forge Encampment.

Beginning on Monday, December 14, new programming will be released each day on the park's website and social media channels, and will feature four short vignettes produced alongside the new orientation film, as well as original videos, interviews, and web activities. The final event, scheduled for Saturday, December 19 at 7 P.M., is a virtual screening of the new park film featuring an interactive question-and-answer session on Facebook with two Valley Forge Park Guides who appear in the film.

In years past, the commemoration of March-In at Valley Forge has been an extremely popular in-park event. This year, in light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the park is excited to be able to offer this engaging series of virtual programming.

The public is invited to view Valley Forge Yule Log on YouTube, an example of the featured content, and encouraged to visit the park's March-In webpage for more details and to view the full programming schedule.
