The Great American Outdoors Act and Valley Forge

The Great American Outdoors Act of 2020 (GAOA) established the National Parks and Public Lands Legacy Restoration Fund (LRF), a source that provides funding to address extensive maintenance and repair needs in national parks, including Valley Forge National Historical Park.

Projects funded by GAOA and LRF at Valley Forge will address threats to visitor and staff safety, enhance the historic landscape's character, and better focus limited park resources on protecting significant historic buildings.
