Volunteering at Valley Forge

Volunteers work alongside park staff to actively preserve and promote the park's resources. Do you have the time, skills, and passion to join us?

There are opportunities to volunteer for individuals or groups, recurring or single time volunteer positions, public service days, stewardship events, special events, and corporate service days.

Prospective volunteers can check the Current Volunteer Opportunities section below to see which programs are recruiting. On a limited basis, the park may able to collaborate with your group to design a unique service opportunity on a specific date. Please contact Khiet Luong (610-783-1061) for more information.

General information about volunteer opportunities with the National Park Service can be found at www.nps.gov/volunteer.

The Valley Forge Park Alliance is a key partner for the park. The Alliance’s broad range of work includes fundraising, educational programs, and advocacy. On average, Alliance board and committee members provide over 6,000 hours of volunteer time annually to Valley Forge. Please visit the Alliance website to learn more about them and how you can get involved.
