Current Volunteer Opportunities at Valley ForgeThe Volunteer Program at Valley ForgeVolunteering is an American tradition that lives on at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Our volunteers work alongside park staff to actively preserve and promote the park's resources. Do you have the passion, time, and skills to join us? We offer volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups, recurring or single time volunteer positions, public service days, stewardship events, special events, and corporate service days. Additional information on NPS volunteer opportunities can be found at www.nps.gov/volunteer. Individuals should review the open Regular Volunteer Opportunities, a stewardship event, or one of the special events. A group can engage in one of four primary service opportunities: public service days, stewardship events, special events, and corporate service days. On a limited basis, the park may able to collaborate with your group to design a unique service opportunity on a specific date. Please contact Khiet Luong (610-783-1061) for more information. The Valley Forge Park Alliance is a key partner for the park. The Alliance’s broad range of work includes fundraising, educational programs, and advocacy. On average, Alliance board and committee members provide over 6,000 hours of volunteer time annually to Valley Forge. Please visit the Alliance website to learn more about them and how you can get involved. |
