River Trips

With seventeen public river accesses dotted along over seventy miles, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River offers a variety of options for your river adventure--whether you are looking for an exciting paddle through rapids or a quiet float down the river in an inner tube.

To help you get started on your adventure, we have listed some of the most popular stretches of the river to paddle and float. Trip durations are based off an average river flow speed of 2 miles per hour. The length of your trip will vary depending on river conditions.

Please review the weather, current park conditions, and river safety information before you start your trip. You can also call our daily river hotline at 845-252-7100 for information about river height, air and water temperatures, boating conditions, and general river safety. The hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from April 1st through October 31st.
