Operating Hours

We are open daily from 8:00am to 4:45pm, all visitors must check in at the Visitor's Center upon arrival. In order to have enough time to see the entire site, we recommend arriving by 4:00pm.

We are open every day, except CLOSED Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. The park CLOSES at 1:45 pm on Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

Available Facilities
Park museum, Western National Parks Association bookstore, restrooms, and our three trails are all available during operating hours. If you are planning to hike through Tavasci Marsh from Dead Horse Ranch State Park, you must be out of the park by 5pm. Dogs are allowed on park trails but must remain on a leash no longer than six feet.
