How to Get Involved

  • Citizen Science – Citizen scientists work alongside researchers to collect data and find answers to real-world questions.
  • Historically Black Colleges & Universities Internship Program – Designed to motivate program participants to get involved in protecting the natural and cultural resources in their communities and beyond.
  • Latino Heritage Internship Program – Partnership with the Environment for the Americas to provide internship opportunities for young adults, with an emphasis on Latinos, in a variety of career fields.
  • Mosaics in Science – Provides youth that are under-represented in natural resource science career fields with on-the-ground, science-based, work experience with the National Park Service.
  • Scientists in Parks – Providing all aspiring professionals with a unique opportunity to work on science projects in national parks.
