Connect Trails to Parks (CTTP)

About the Connect Trails to Parks Funding Source

Connect Trails to Parks (CTTP) is a competitive, internal annual funding source through the National Park Service (NPS) focused on the National Trails System.

CTTP is intended to increase public awareness, appreciation, use, access, and sustainability of the National Trails System at NPS areas and other Federal, State, and Tribal lands and facilities associated with NPS-administered components of the National Trails System.

Projects selected for CTTP significantly impact the promotion, planning, research, evaluation, program design, and sustainable infrastructure of national trails. National scenic trails (NSTs), national historic trails (NHTs), and national recreation trails (NRTs) are established under the National Trails System Act (16 USC 1241-1251).
