Mountains inspire different forms of art, from visual arts to regional craftmaking, music, and more. Many mountain parks host an artist for 2 to 4 weeks through the Artist-in-Residence program. In Olympic National Park, mountain glaciers inspired an artistic elegy of watercolors, paintings, poetry, music, stained glass, a story map, and much more. Project Terminus uses art to immortalize the park's dwindling glaciers as the climate changes.
