Pre-Solicitation Notices

Announcement of Pre-Release Site Visit for A Concession Business Opportunity to Provide Lodging, Food & Beverage, Retail, Campground, and Other Services within Lake Chelan National Recreation Area

The National Park Service (NPS) anticipates releasing a prospectus for a concession business opportunity to provide Lodging, Food & Beverage, Retail, Campground, and Other Services in Lake Chelan National Recreation Area in the first quarter of calendar year 2025. The prospectus will describe the business opportunity and the terms and conditions of Concession Contract No. CC-LACH003-26.

The NPS will host a site visit for entities interested in bidding on the opportunity on September 27, 2024 in advance of the release of the solicitation. The site visit provides interested entities an overview of the concession operation and a tour of many of the Concession Facilities (land and real property improvements assigned to the concessioner under the contract).

Registration is required to attend the site visit. To register, contact Annelise Sirguy, North Cascades National Park Complex Concessions Management Specialist, at (360) 599-0272 or annelise_sirguy@nps.gov no later than 5:00 pm Pacific Time on September 20, 2024. You must provide your name, contact information, the name of the entity interested in submitting a proposal that you represent, the primary contact for the entity, and the number of people in your party. Due to space constraints, the NPS limits the number of site visit attendees to a total of five (5) people per interested entity. All individuals attending the site visit must disclose to the Service the names of the interested entities engaging their services.

Site visit participants are responsible for obtaining their lodging, meals, and transportation to the Concession Facilities. The North Cascades Lodge at Stehekin is remotely located on the north end of Lake Chelan, and is solely accessible by passenger ferry, float plane, hiking, or private boat. Participants are encouraged to obtain lodging as soon as possible due to limited availability. Full information on this opportunity can be found on SAM.gov.

Notice of Presolicitation Site Visit for Concession Opportunity for Lodging, Food & Beverage, Retail, and Camping within Badlands National Park

The National Park Service (“NPS”) anticipates releasing a prospectus for a concession business opportunity to provide lodging, retail, food and beverage and camping services within Badlands National Park (“Park”) in mid November 2024. The prospectus will describe the business opportunity and the terms and conditions of Concession Contract No. CC-BADL001-25.

On August 26, 2024, the NPS announced in a notice on SAM.gov link: SAM.gov, plans to host a site visit for interested entities in advance of the release of the prospectus. The site visit provides interested entities an overview of the concession operation and a tour of many of the Concession Facilities (land and real property improvements assigned to the concessioner under the Draft Contract). To attend the site visit, registration is required, and the registration period closes on September 19, 2024.

The one-day site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, 2024, to allow interested parties to tour the facilities. The site visit will begin at 9:00am MDT in the conference room at Park Headquarters. All interested parties should arrive at the conference room by 9:00 am to sign in. Interested parties will spend the morning touring the concessioner assigned facilities. Please be prepared for varying weather and for walking short distances between buildings.

All parties intending to participate in the site visit must send an email message to eric_nikkel@nps.gov no later than 4pm CDT, Thursday, September 19, 2024, to make a reservation. An email confirmation will be sent to interested parties prior to the day of the site visit. A strict limit of two persons per business entity will be authorized to attend the site visit.

Notice of a site visit for a new concession contract to operate lodging, food and beverage, retail, and other services at Lake Crescent Lodge, Log Cabin Resort, Fairholme Store, and Hurricane Ridge within Olympic National Park

The National Park Service (NPS) intends to announce, in early September 2024, the release of a business opportunity to provide lodging, food and beverage, retail, campground, rentals, firewood, and other related services at Lake Crescent Lodge, Log Cabin Resort, Fairholme Store, and Hurricane Ridge within Olympic National Park.

The NPS will hold a one-day site visit for organizations interested in bidding on this opportunity on September 18, 2024. The site visit provides interested persons, corporations, or other entities an overview of the concession operations along with a tour of the Concession Facilities, as that term is defined in the Draft Contract, assigned to the Concessioner under the Draft Contract.

To attend the site visit, registration is required. To register, please email Kimberley Gagliolo, Commercial Services Specialist, Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12 at kim_gagliolo@nps.gov with the name of your company, contact phone number and email, and the number of people attending from your organization, no later than September 16, 2024. Additional information regarding meeting time and location will be provided after registration.

Site visit participants are responsible for obtaining their own lodging, meals, and transportation to the respective Concession Facilities. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Please be prepared for varying weather and walking between buildings. Since the concession operation will be serving visitors at the time of the site visit, the NPS limits the number of representatives that each company, including any supporting contractors, may bring to the site visit to five (5), and no more than two (2) people per organization, including any supporting contractors, will be permitted within the kitchen areas. Attendance at the site visit is not required to submit a proposal for the prospectus; however, attendance is encouraged. SAM.gov link: SAM.gov
