100 Years: Let's celebrate!

The National Park Service turned 100 on August 25, 2016, and we celebrated throughout the year with our partners and visitors across the country.

The NPS Centennial also kicked off a second century of stewardship of America's national parks and engaging communities through recreation, conservation, and historic preservation programs.

As we enter that next century of service, the celebration continues! We invite you to find your park and discover the national parks and programs in your own back yard!
