Winter Weather Alert - Delayed Opening on February 19, 2025

Murfreesboro, Tennessee - The Stones River National Battlefield leadership team has decided to delay opening the park until 12 PM on Wednesday February 19, 2025 in response to forecasts of 2-3 inches of snow that will create hazardous driving conditions for the staff and public. The delayed opening will allow staff to assess and address hazards.

Staff will begin by restoring safe access to the visitor center and parking lot. Visitors can expect the tour road and other sites accessed by vehicles to remain closed until snow/ice has melted. Updates of closures and restored access will be posted on the park's website and Facebook page.
