Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is celebrating the 100th birthday of the National Park Service (NPS) with a series special summer events. There will be free concerts, “star parties” with astronomers, a Research Rendezvous lecture series, a naturalization ceremony, and more. All events are free with a park pass. A pass is not required Research Rendezvous lecture series at the Philip A. Hart Visitor Center. For a complete listing of events, check our calendar. Park rangers will also be doing outreach in the local community. Look for us at special events and programs in your neighborhood.
