Sitka National Historical Park (August 27, 2012) - Sitka National Historical Park concludes its summer evening program series this week.

Fort Ross:An Overlooked Chapter in Russian American History

Many people are surprised to learn that a Russian colony also existed on the northern California coast. Join Ranger Anne Lankenau as she relates the story of this outpost of Russian America - who was there, why they came, what they did, why they left, and the legacy they left behind.
