These comments once compiled and analyzed will be published in the management plan’s website. The public will have another opportunity to make comments once the Environmental Assessment is drafted and the alternatives are fully developed. “This is an important issue for the park. We want to provide as much opportunity for public involvement in the development of this plan as we can”, concluded Superintendent Palfrey.
San Juan National Historic Site (San Juan NHS) is comprised of Castillo San Felipe del Morro, Castillo San Cristóbal, Fort San Juan de La Cruz (El Cañuelo), Puerta de San Juan, Paseo del Morro, Plaza de la Rogativa and most of the city wall. The park is open every day except on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas and New Year’s. Hours of operation are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
