Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US President, will adopt its usual summer schedule of a seven day operation beginning Monday, May 25 through Monday, September 7 (Labor Day).  The public buildings are open for tours and visitation seven days per week during the summer season. As always, the grounds and trails at Sagamore Hill are open year round to the public from dawn to dusk.

Tours of the Theodore Roosevelt Home are offered on the hour from 10AM to 4PM at a cost of $5 for adults; those 15 and under are free.  Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis each day beginning at 9AM.  Each tour is limited to fourteen persons and advance reservations are not taken.  Weekends and holiday weekends are usually very busy, so we advise that you plan to visit in the morning since we often sell all available tickets for the house tours by the early afternoon.

The Visitor Center and Gift Shop are open seven days from 9AM to 5PM to get orientation at the site and to purchase tour tickets, National Park Passes and retail items.

The Theodore Roosevelt Museum at Old Orchard is also open seven days per week from 10AM to 5PM.   The museum exhibits and audio visual presentation tell the story of Theodore Roosevelt’s early and public life.  There is no admission charge to visit the museum.
