Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US President, will adopt its usual fall and winter schedule of five day operation beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2.  The public buildings will be open for tours and visitation Wednesday through Sunday and will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The grounds of Sagamore Hill are open to the public year round from dawn to dusk without charge.

Tours of the Theodore Roosevelt Home are offered Wednesday through Sunday on the hour from 10 to 4 at a cost of $5 for adults; those 15 and under are free.  Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis for each day beginning at 9 AM. Each tour is limited to fourteen persons and advance reservations are not taken.  Weekends and holiday weekends are usually very busy so if you are coming at one of these times plan to visit in the morning since we often sell all available tickets for the house tours by the early afternoon.

The Visitor Center and Gift Shop are open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 to 5 where one may purchase tour tickets, National Park Passes and retail items.

The Theodore Roosevelt Museum in Old Orchard is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 to 5 and there is no charge to see it. The exhibits tell the story of TR’s early and public life.
