Contact: Josh Reyes, 516-922-4788 Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, home of Theodore Roosevelt, 26th US President, will be opened Mondays and Tuesdays beginning May 30th. Our hours of operation during the summer will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sagamore Hill will remain open seven days a week until Labor Day on Monday, September 8th. Afterward we will return to our off-season schedule of Wednesday-Sunday.Entering Theodore Roosevelt’s Home is by guided tour only. Tours are offered at the top of the hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at a cost of $10 for adults; those 15 and under are free. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served when the Visitor Center is open beginning at 9:00AM. Each tour is limited to fourteen persons. Limited tickets can be purchased up to six months in advance through Recreation.gov, or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Weekends and especially holiday weekends are very busy, so please plan to visit earlier in the day to secure your tour tickets.
The grounds and nature trail at Sagamore Hill NHS are open 7 days per week year round from sunrise to sunset and are free of charge.
