In Saguaro National Park:
Volunteer to remove buffelgrass at a Second Saturday buffelgrass pull in the Rincon Mountain District. You will be trained in how to identify buffelgrass and safely remove it. This is a great way to get outside and learn about and help protect the park. Receive a one-day pass to use at the Park for helping.

Wilderness Volunteers after removing buffelgrass.

Camp for a week and pull buffelgrass near the Madrona Pools. A day to hike and explore is included along with the four days of pulling buffelgrass. The project is done in conjunction with Wilderness Volunteers, a non-profit group that leads volunteer projects on public lands. Food and logistics are provided. A fee is required for expenses and to help fund this non-profit. Sign up at their website.
Participate in our Weed Free Trails program. This is a wonderful opportunity to hike the trails and keep them free of buffelgrass and other invasive plants.

Adopt an area of the park to protect from invasive plants through our new Adopt-an-Area Program.
