What would you like to do?

Whatever your focus, nature or history, engaging with people or embracing solitude, Saint Croix Island may have a volunteer opportunity for you. Volunteers support the National Park Service in its mission to preserve and protect our national parks. You can volunteer for a day or year-round; on your own or with friends and family. What would you like to do?

Some things volunteers do

The possibilities are as diverse as the national parks themselves. Here are some example volunteer activities:

  • Is talking about history something you can't seem to stop doing, the perhaps you want to lead or support education and public-facing programs
  • Do you like to garden, we have some opportunities available in creating and maintaining our pollinator area.
  • Perhaps you find your zen in ground work, then perhaps you want to stop in a couple times a month to help maintain our interpretive trail.
  • You canteach others about the park and swear in new Junior Rangers in the visitor center
  • Help out at community events and festivals.

Let us know what you like to do. You can email us at sacr_information@nps.gov or call (207) 454-0418 to speak with a ranger and find out id we are a natch for each other.
