Things to Know When Planning for Your Next Trip:
A valid park entrance fee or park pass is required to enter any area of RMNP 24 hours a day. For details, visit the Fees & Passes webpage.
Planning a winter trip to the park? Be prepared for varying conditions. Take time to check the weather and make sure you are prepared for winter driving and recreation conditions.
Before heading into the park, visit one of Rocky's visitor centers to speak with a ranger, learn about ranger programs, ask questions, and explore exhibits. Click here to learn more about visitor center hours.
Late May through October and winter weekends are among the busiest times to visit the park. Planning a trip between May 23 - October 19? Depending on when you are planning to enter RMNP, you might need a timed entry reservation. For details, visit RMNP's Timed Entry Reservations webpage.
Interested in going camping? During the summer season, reservations are required and some reservations open 6 months ahead of a desired camping date. Visit the Campground page for more details.

The Information Office is open year-round: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily in summer; 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Mondays - Fridays and 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Saturdays - Sundays in winter.
