Recovery Operations on Longs Peak; Keyhole Route Temporarily Closed Above Boulderfield to Summit

News Release Date: September 17, 2022

The Keyhole Route is temporarily closed at the Keyhole to the summit of Longs Peak due to recovery operations for a deceased male above the Ledges.  The temporary closure will be in place until tomorrow and possibly Monday until the recovery operations are complete. 

 

Further information regarding the incident will be released when the recovery operations and investigation are completed.
