Old Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park will temporarily close to vehicles at approximately 10 pm on Wednesday, July 18, and is anticipated to reopen to vehicles by 10 am on Thursday morning, July 19.

Early Thursday morning, July 19, Xanterra Parks and Resorts, the concessionaire for Trail Ridge Store, will be installing material as part of a major roof replacement project incorporating solar panels. Heavy equipment needed for this project will be staged behind and next to Trail Ridge Store, blocking the exit of Old Fall River Road during the operation. The Alpine Visitor Center area and the majority of the parking lot will remain open during this time.
