Beginning on Thursday, October 15, park staff will be removing hazard trees in a variety of locations in the park including Wild Basin Road, Alluvial Fan Area, Endovalley Picnic Area, Bear Lake Trailhead, Moraine Park Campground, and US Highway 34 near Deer Ridge Junction. This work will take place through mid-November when conditions allow. Work will not take place on weekends.
If conditions allow, the Wild Basin Road will be temporarily closed Thursday, October 15, at approximately 11 a.m. for up to 45 minutes while hazard trees are removed near the entrance station. Specific dates and times will be shared in the future for other locations.
