River Raisin National Battlefield Park hopes to make your visit an pleasant one and has a fully accessible handicap ramp up to the Visitor Center. The Center also has two fully accessible bathrooms. The Map Room with our fiber optic light map presentation (about the Battle) and the other areas of the Museum are also fully accessible so you won't miss a thing. We also have two wheelchairs available, just ask at the welcome desk.
Outside we have a picnic area that is fully accessible and a picnic table that is made for a wheelchair. We have a paved 0.6 mile loop trail with historical markers that is easy to get around. There is also the 4.4 mile paved loop River Raisin Heritage Trail that takes you into Sterling State Park.
For those who are visually impaired we have a braille booklet with the fiber optic light map presentation available, and for those who are hearing impaired, we have the text for the fiber optic light map presentation as well - please inquire at the welcome desk.
