Lost and Found

For items lost in Point Reyes National Seashore, please fill out as much of the form below as possible. The more complete and accurate the information that you provide, the better we will be able to match your report with found items. If we do not have a matching item turned in to us, you will not be contacted further. You can also inquire about your lost item(s) at any of the park's visitor centers, but if it has yet to be turned in, you will be asked to fill out the form below.

You may choose to provide additional information such as your address or phone number. We may use that information to contact you if we find your item or if we have more questions. Sometimes we forward your e-mail to other government employees or authorized concessioners who may be better able to help you. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, we do not share your e-mail with any other outside organizations.

This number will initially be answered by an automated attendant, from which one can opt to access a name directory, listen to recorded information about the park (e.g., directions to the park; visitor center hours of operation; fire danger information; wildlife updates; ranger-led programs; seasonal events; etc.), or speak with a ranger. Please note that if you are calling between 4:30 pm and 10 am, park staff may not be available to answer your call.
