Based on this afternoon’s weather and vegetation conditions, fire danger at Point Reyes National Seashore and Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) lands in Marin County will be rated as "Extreme" again tomorrow, Thursday, September 4. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has also declared tomorrow a "Spare the Air Day" due to a forecast of hot temperatures and light winds which will combine to produce poor air quality with potentially unhealthy ground-level ozone pollution.
