On Saturday, June 22, interagency search and rescue personnel from Marin County Search and Rescue, Marin County Fire, Point Reyes National Seashore, and Marin Posse will take part in a mock search from approximately 2:00 – 7:00 pm. The mock search and rescue will take place along Limantour Road and the Bayview Trailhead.

Additional exercises could take place in Tomales Bay and other trail locations within the Seashore.

These activities are key in keeping search and rescue personnel trained in various scenarios from lost hikers and hikers with injuries, to boating accidents.
