Point Reyes National Seashore Draft Compendium Out for Public Review

Point Reyes National Seashore Superintendent Don Neubacher announced today that the Draft Compendium for Point Reyes National Seashore is out for a 30-day public review period.

The Compendium is a compilation of regulations that are specific to Point Reyes National Seashore and authorized by the Code of Federal Regulations. The Compendium lists information on items such as camping regulations, hours of operation and closures within the Seashore.

Copies are available at park headquarters or by requesting one through the mail. The public comment period closes on May 1, 1998. Comments related to the draft compendium should be sent to: Superintendent, Point Reyes National Seashore, Point Reyes Station, CA 94956 or by calling Ann Nelson at (415) 663-8522, ext. 221.
