At the far end of the parking lot, a wide, paved footpath climbs a hill to the museum and the canyon rim at Yavapai Point. From the village, take South Entrance Road past Park Headquarters and Market Plaza, then make the next left turn onto the road that leads into the Museum's parking lot Another option is to park at the visitor center, then ride the free Kaibab Rim (Orange) Route shuttle to the museum. From the bus stop, walk the uphill path to Yavapai Geology Museum. Immediately behind the bus stop, a level footpath through the trees leads directly to the Yavapai Point Amphitheater on the edge of the canyon.
