On Saturday, June 24th, the monument will celebrate Pollinator Week with educational activities, naturalist-led plant walks, citizen science programs, and more!
Activities will be offered from 11 am to 2 pm.
A Master Naturalist will lead pollinator plant walks along the trail, and you can become a citizen scientist by helping us search for monarch caterpillars.
Kids can color their own butterflies, learn about monarch butterfly migration, and earn a free pollinator patch.
Pollinators are critical to the health and functionality of the ecosystems the National Park Service protects. Learn more at https://www.nps.gov/subjects/pollinators.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please call 507-825-5464 ext. 214 or visit the park website at www.nps.gov/pipe. Event details and program schedules will be posted on the park Facebook page at www.facebook.com/PipestoneNPS.
