On May 4th, Pipestone National Monument will host its first Star Party of the year. From 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm visitors can look through telescopes with astronomers and learn more about the cosmos! Photographer Marty DeWitt will be onsite for photo enthusiasts who want to learn astrophotography (a DSLR or mirrorless camera and a tripod are required for this activity). As always, complimentary star-themed snacks will be available while supplies last!
Be sure to layer up and bring a flashlight for navigating the parking lot and median.
