On Saturday, October 7, Pipestone National Monument will celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day from 8:00pm - 9:00pm!

Luminarias and lanterns will light the trail for a self-guided experience. Indigenous singers, musicians, and dancers will fill the prairie with the sounds and traditions of people who have called this site home for centuries. The trail is uneven and can be challenging to walk in the dark. Please exercise caution. Free cocoa and cider will be served in the Visitor Center while supplies last.

This event is free and open to the public.

For more information, please call 507-825-5464 ext. 214 or visit the park website at www.nps.gov/pipe. Event details and program schedules will be posted on the park Facebook page at www.facebook.com/PipestoneNPS.
