Artists-in-Residence at Pipestone National Monument

This summer, Pipestone National Monument will host four Indigenous artists at the Visitor Center during four separate residencies, each lasting one week. Numerous incredibly talented artists applied from all over the country, and the monument is honored to have the following represented at the park:
 
  • Mercedese Young Man Afraid of His Horses: May 25th – May 31st  
  • Kelly Looking Horse: June 15th – June 21st  
  • Daryl No Heart: July 1st – July 7th  
  • HarmonyStar Straub: August 19th – August 25th
Artists will be demonstrating their own style of artwork while engaging with visitors from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm each day they’re at the site.
