Artists-in-Residence at Pipestone National Monument

The monument will host four incredible artists this summer!

This summer, Pipestone National Monument will host four Indigenous artists at the Visitor Center during four separate residencies, each lasting one week. Numerous incredibly talented artists applied from all over the country, and the monument is honored to have the following represented at the park:
 

• Mercedese Young Man Afraid of His Horses: May 25^th – May 31^st  
• Kelly Looking Horse: June 15^th – June 21^st  
• Daryl No Heart: July 1^st – July 7^th  
• HarmonyStar Straub: August 19^th – August 25^th

Artists will be demonstrating their own style of artwork while engaging with visitors from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm each day they’re at the site.
