Honolulu – Access in and out of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and Ford Island will be altered on Monday, February 15, from about 7 am until 11 am, due to the 2016 Great Aloha Run. Please plan for lane closures and other delays along the Kamehameha Highway that may increase travel time. The Great Aloha Run is an 8.15-mile road race with an expected participation of over 24,000 runners and walkers. To mitigate traffic congestion and maintain safety for race participants, the Honolulu Police Department will coordinate traffic flow during the race until the bulk of the racers have passed. Please follow instructions from uniformed law enforcement personnel and traffic coordinators.
