Pecos NHP Offers Free Lecture Battle for the West: Glorieta Pass and the Civil War

Pecos, NM: Ranger Eric Sainio from Pecos National Historical Park Ranger will offer a presentation on the history of the pivotal, but little-known 1862 Battle of GlorietaPass on Saturday, October 20th at 1:00 p.m. at the Vista Grande Public Library. He will explore the role New Mexico played in defending the Union and saving the American Southwest from the Confederacy.
 
Please note, this program will take place at the Vista Grande Public Library, which is located at 14 Avenida Torreon, Santa Fe, NM 87508. Space is limited, so please arrive early.
