Ensuring Quality of Information Disseminated by the National Park Service

"The National Park Service disseminates a wide variety of information to the public regarding the national parks, natural and cultural resources, geographic and spatial data, and commemorative events. Such information takes the form of brochures, research and statistical reports, policy and regulatory information, and general reference information. All offices should evaluate and identify the types of information disseminated that will be subject to these guidelines." - Director’s Order 11B

This federal interagency office is staffed by employees from the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S National Forest Service, and by dedicated volunteers from the local community. Phones are answered Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The visitor center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all federal holidays.
