Partners

 

Padre Island National Seashore has partnerships with a variety of organizations in order to help the National Park Service fulfill its mission. Partners provide important support for education, sustainability initiatives, management solutions, and park research.

 

Texas State Aquarium

Texas State Aquarium and Padre Island National Seashore hold a general agreement as an Aquarium-Park Partner. This partnership is a joint initiative between the National Park Service and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and involves 10 other zoo/aquarium-National Park pairs across the country.

 

Western National Parks

The park store in the Malaquite Visitor Center is operated by Western National Parks.

Western National Parks is a 501(c)3 non-profit cooperating association, supporting the interpretive, educational, and scientific programs and services at national parks and public lands.

 

Worldwinds Windsurfing

Worldwinds Windsurfing is the in-park concessioner who provides commercial visitor services such as windsurfing, kayak, and standup paddle board gear rentals, as well as windsurfing lessons. The concessioner operates under an official concessions contract with the National Park Service.
