ORGAN PIPE CACTUS NATIONAL MONUMENT, AZ. March 8, 2017 – The Alamo Canyon Campground restroom facility will receive a necessary improvement for accessibility with the construction of a parking pad, a wheelchair ramp and a handrail. Work is anticipated to start Monday March 13th and end by Friday March 24th and will occur daily from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm. Visitors camping or hiking in Alamo Canyon should anticipate limited parking, the presence of workers, heavy construction equipment, noise, dust, temporary delays and road closures. Personnel will be on site to direct traffic. This project is funded by your fee dollars. About the National Park Service.
