Illinois Valley Visitor Center

Stop in at the bottom of Caves Hwy 46 for more information on cave tours, things to do in the area and to buy your same day tickets before heading up to the Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve.

 
 
 
 

Great Cats World Park

Off Hwy 199 south of Cave Junction, OR. You'll find many different species of wildlife cats tamed and trained. Hours of operation: Memorial-Labor day 10am-6pm; off season 11am-4pm; closed January and December. Adult $15 Senior $13 Children $11, under 3 free. 541-592-2957.

 

Rusk Ranch Nature Center

Butterfly Pavilion. Open Memorial Day-Labor Day 10am-5pm, closed Monday. Adults $7, Kids $3. Come explore migration of monarchs, painted tortoise shells and many other types of butterflies roaming the facility. 

 

Illinois River Forks State Park-Disc Golf

Variety of trails along East and West Fork of the Illinois River. 9-hole/basket disc golf course. Great place to picnic and swim in the Summer. 

 

Siskiyou Smokejumper Base Museum

March 15-November 15; 10am-4pm. Free admission. Learn about seeds that reached the moon and one of the first smokejumper bases established by the US Forest Service in 1943. 30904 Redwood Hwy, Cave Junction, OR 97523.
