Port Angeles, Wash.– Due to a landslide, the Spruce Railroad Trail is closed until further notice. Significant rockfall and debris cover the trail near the Daley-Rankin Tunnel. The tunnel portal structure and bridge are also damaged. Closing the entire trail is necessary to protect visitor safety and allow park crews to remove debris, assess trail damage, and make plans for repairs.

Closure updates will be posted on Olympic National Park’s website at: Alerts & Conditions - Olympic National Park (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov).
