National Junior Ranger Day

Park ranger providing a program to junior rangers.

 

In celebration of National Park Week, National Junior Ranger Day and the upcoming National Park Service Centennial in 2016, Obed Wild and Scenic River will be having a junior ranger program on Saturday, April 16. This free program will take place at Obed Visitor Center.

 

Young children will fill out our park's junior ranger booklets and receive a special Obed patch and badge for their efforts. Parents are welcome to help their kids with this fun activity. This special event will last from 1:00-2:00 pm (EST). No reservations are required.
