News Release Date: October 18, 2017 Michigan resident Christopher Rogers attempted to jump from the overlook to a nearby tree, but the branches couldn't support his weight and continued falling before hitting a rock ledge. Visitors are reminded that climbing over park railings is dangerous and are there for their protection. An investigation is being conducted by the National Park Service and Morgan County Sheriffs Office. No further information is available at this time. |
