Contact: Chance Hall, 423-346-6294 WARTBURG, Tennessee: The Obed Wild and Scenic River in partnership with local bowyer, Travis Gosnell, present another primitive bow workshop on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern time. This event will take place in the Obed Visitor Center in Wartburg, Tennessee, and Mr. Gosnell will be beginning the process of building a primitive bow. The workshop is free to the public and all ages are welcome to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Bring your questions and curiosities about this centuries old tool. Learn about how these primitive tools are made and what a huge impact they had on those who used them.
