The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be holding a Meet and Greet Event on Friday, June 24th, from 2-6 p.m. (Eastern time). The event will take place inside the Obed Visitor Center, located at 208 North Maiden Street in downtown Wartburg. No reservations are needed for this free event. Light refreshments will be served. The Obed WSR is holding this event to introduce our park's new Superintendent, Niki Nicholas. You will also hear about the many new projects that the staff of the Obed is currently working on. The Obed Visitor Center itself is sporting a new interior look, with paintings of the park by Rugby artist Mara Trumbo. It all adds up to quite a fun afternoon. We look forward to seeing you!
