The Nature Conservancy received a generous gift of land from Dr. Fred Stone on Saturday, June 4th. Dr. Stone donated a total of 66 acres of his private property to the Nature Conservancy. The donation included 12.6 acres that fell within the boundary of the Obed Wild and Scenic River. A total of 51 visitors attended the ceremony at the park's Boulder Field. The dedication included a scavenger hunt and a story-telling activity. |
