WARTBURG, Tennessee:The Obed Wild and Scenic River will be hosting its first catfishing programon June 25, 2013 to celebrate National Catfish Day. Participants should meet at the Lilly Bridge parking area at 9:00 p.m. EDT. This program will consist of instruction on different methods used for catfishing, fishing for those whiskered fish, and the sharing of fishing stories. Anyone over the age of 12 must have a valid Tennessee fishing license in their possession to fish. All ages are encouraged to attend this free event. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a flashlight and their own fishing rod, reel, and tackle. This program should conclude by 11 p.m. EDT.
