Spend some time outside on Saturday, April 20, and participate in the Obed Wild & Scenic River annual clean-up and volunteer appreciation potluck lunch. Participants are asked to meet at the Obed WSR Visitor Center at 208 N. North Maiden Street in Wartburg at 8:30 AM (ET).

Volunteers are asked to bring water, insect repellent, sun block and wear sturdy closed toe shoes. There will be several work projects that will include trail maintenance and litter and recyclable collections throughout the park.

To show our appreciation for the invaluable efforts of volunteers that dedicate their time and talents throughout the year, the Obed WSR will host a volunteer appreciation potluck lunch. Volunteers are invited to return to the Obed Visitor Center at 12:00 PM (ET). Burgers, veggie burgers, and drinks will be provided and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to share.
