African Burial Ground Seeks Public Input on Park's Plan for the Future

The National Park Service invites members of the public to three Open Houses to share their ideas and expectations for the future of the African Burial Ground National Monument. A General Management Plan (GMP) is being drafted to recommend how this sacred site in downtown Manhattan may educate and inspire people all over the world during the next 20 years.

Plan to attend one of the Open Houses to kick-off the 12 month planning process, to receive updates on the site including the opening of the new Visitor Center, and help craft a vision for the future of the African Burial Ground.
