The Stehekin community in Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is open of business. The nearby Wolverine wildfire and smoke have subsided and all services are open. Visitors are invited to take a plane or ferry from Chelan or Field's Point Landing for a day trip, or spend several days in one of a number of overnight accommodations. Take a hike, eat a meal, rent a bike, camp, ride a horse, enjoy the apple orchard—explore Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. The Pacific Crest Trail detour remains in effect. |
